Cots and Dogs
Digs for dogs
We welcome dogs as much as their owners and are happy for them to sleep in bedrooms (but not on our beds) and patter around the bar.
This year we introduce a small charge for those bringing dogs to stay. £15 for one night, £25 for 2+ nights, irrespective of the number of dogs. If you’ve already booked to stay, there'll be no charge, but it'll be in place for any bookings made after 1 February for stays from 1 April 2026.
If your dog likes to be with you while you eat then do ask when you book. If Table 13 isn't available, your dog may sit under a table in the tack room, provided other guests are happy.

A note on cots (and small beds)
We've travel cots which we happily make up tiny ones. And z-beds for the less tiny. We love looking after children, but do be aware that the walls between some bedrooms are thin and noise can carry to neighbouring rooms.
For any children of 8 or over sleeping in our sofa bed or a camp bed, we charge £40 a night which includes breakfast and the bed. Children under 8 stay for £10 a night to cover the various bits and pieces we're completely happy to lay on.
Do have a look at our Eat More page for details of what we can offer to your children for supper.
